Akshay Ramsewak is a multidisciplinary artist whose work explores culture, race and identity. His inspiration derives from his Trinidadian heritage and experience of his English upbringing, blending realism and expressionism he creates evocative work with a deeper meaning. Recent projects of his highlight the trials and tribulations of immigrants of England, social issues and the mentality of veterans and servicemen through portraiture and symbolism.
